girls can! - Free event

DESCRIPTION:
You are invited to join us for Girls Can! Both boys and girls (recommended age 2-6) are welcome to join for this free event; however the theme is girls' empowerment. Those in attendance will participate in a mini-storytime, music class, as well as an art segment to encourage the idea that girls can do anything. Please see the format below:
Jessi Rausch, author of "She Shines Bright" will be reading her book during a short storytime. @jessi.rausch wrote the book for her daughter, Harper, so she would be confident in her ability to be anything she dreams - even PRESIDENT!
Dana Lockett-Harrison, owner of Musicology 4 Kids, will be hosting a twenty-minute girls' empowerment music class. Dana holds several music classes throughout the Hoboken/Jersey City area, including some at Celebrate Life Studio.
Elham Shirazi, owner of Craft Monkey, will be providing a twenty-minute art segment to encourage attendees to Dream Big!!
Snacks provided by: Jennifer Choi, owner of Sugarsuckle.
Refreshments will also be provided.

Be a tree - dog safety class

The Be a Tree program is a dog bite prevention seminar program for school-age children. This program focuses on fun and interactive activities to teach children how to read dog body language and how to act safely around both their own dog and strange dogs.
